The Session fee is $500 and includes 5 film photos. Once you receive your images you will have the option to upgrade your gallery and purchase physical mementos of your experience.

IS THIS FOR ME?
See Your Nature is a love letter to women. This experience is not a reward for when you’ve got it together. It’s a reminder that how you are right now, is whole, perfect and complete.
Who were you before the world told you who you should be? Before you had any conscious awareness of the importance of “fitting in”. When did it start to feel unsafe to be yourself and be in your body? I bet young.
This experience is for any women who wants to deepen their relationship with themselves, their bodies and nature.

Jessie has an eye for beauty and wonder. She knows how to create magic with greens of moss and the sparkles of light. She sees exactly how our bodies and nature link together. I treasure the collection of art I've been able to participate in, the work that she has gifted to me, rubbing in that belief that I am a beautiful part of the natural environment we are so lucky to share our lives with. In every shoot, every time I strip off into my skin, Jessie has made me feel looked after, in control, and worthy of being made into something ethereal. We laugh a lot on these shoots and we joke about mermaids and fairies, but I genuinely feel like one in the photos she creates - she creates magic.

Our time together wasn’t just a photoshoot; it was an experience. We laughed and cried until we laughed again. We ate, we wandered, we frolicked, we let ourselves be completely human. But most of all, we breathed. Deep, full, expansive breaths. With every exhale Jessie asked me to take, I felt layers of fear, shame, and self-consciousness begin to fall away. Jessie has this way of gently guiding you back into your body, into presence, into truth, before she ever lifts the camera.
By the end, when she snapped the final photo, we erupted into laughter and joy like little girls, celebrating not just the images but the experience of what we had created together. It felt like a return. To innocence. To connection. To love.

Hi! I’m Jessie - an Aussie, who’s found herself on the other side of the world, in Ucluelet - the most beautiful place on earth (Vancouver Island). As a little girl, I was obsessed with Fairies, Mermaids, Fern Gully and Pocahontas - I literally have to pinch myself that I get to do this as my work.
Through See Your Nature there is a beautiful healing that’s taking place. Within the women who step in-front of my camera and within myself.

As part of your See Your Nature Experience, you receive exclusive access to the most beautiful private property, that hugs the coastline of Ucluelet.

Before your date, you will receive a “How to Prepare for your Experience" Guide. In there you will learn exactly what to bring and how to prepare emotionally and physically.

Film is such a huge part of what makes this experience so special. The pace is slower, there’s more intention and you cannot see yourself. Because of this we lean into how something feels, rather than looks. We lean into intuition and trust. Trust for the film and the process, but also a beautiful trust with each other.
We will capture 2 rolls of film together, one roll of colour and one roll of black and white.
You will receive your images 3-4 weeks after your experience. Film processing takes time, but I find that waiting becomes it’s own beautiful portal.
If you do however want to expedite the process, your film can be developed faster for a fee.
Disclaimer*
Though I am a seasoned Film Photographer, film does come with risk. Like any camera, things can go wrong. It’s rare but if something were to happen to your film where is it lost or damaged - you will receive an additional experience, free of charge.

Including pick up and drop off, put aside 4-5 hours for your SYN Experience. This time varies depending on each person. Your energy, the weather, our pace - all factor into our timeline. I don’t like to rush the process. We will have breaks, snacks and chats, letting energy and inspiration lead.
I recommend clearing your schedule for the day of your SYN experience. Nature is unpredictable here, and having the whole day free to be flexible with weather, light and tides is an extra precaution I like to take.

No one will see your photos without your consent. Your gallery is private and secured with a pin. Once your gallery is delivered, you will have the option to approve images that I may use for marketing purposes. Each woman is in control of the use of their images and, if you want to keep your experience private, I respect that.
If you feel called to share more of your story with your images, I welcome you to reflect and write about your experience for yourself and also for other women to see themselves in your story. Your story is worth telling.

The weather is very unpredictable here, that’s what makes Ucluelet feel so wild. Rain does not necessarily mean postponing - it depends on the time of year and how much rain. Closer to your date we will assess the weather and where our best pocket for light is throughout your day.
